It was the first Winter Farmers' Market that I've been to and while it didn't hold the same beauty and energy that I love from the Summer and Fall Farmers' Market, it was fun. I had the opportunity to speak with someone from the Greeley Nature and Trails and really enjoyed hearing about the future plans for our community. I also wanted to check out what they had to offer at the Winter Farmers' Market and to be honest, it was mostly all bakeries!
The French bakery was there and I got my usual cream cheese cruffin. I also sampled the beans from JJT Beans and was actually blown away by how great those were. And minimal ingredients as well! I purchased some dried "refried" black beans and seriously...game changer. SO easy and so delicious.
I can see myself there. I can envision myself selling my Chili Crisp. Allowing people to taste it, giving ideas on what to eat it with, even showing people how to make it on their own! I am holding onto this vision and will continue to do whatever I need to move in that direction.
The past week has kind of brought me to a stand still as far as this business goes. To be honest, I don't know where to go next. So I decided to find some resources to help. I reached out to the Small Business Development Center that I have worked with in the past and will be enlisting them to help me determine my next steps. Until then, I will spend some time working toward getting some promo photos (still don't have my branded stickers or anything, I'll just have to make do).
I'll update you as soon as I have something to update you on.
Stay crispy,
Kara
